14 November 2008
The Girls' model is once again at the forefront of educational innovation. Mrs McKeever and Mr Hance graduated with flying colours from the Regional Training Unit's first ever Online Teacher Education programme (OLTE). The graduation ceremony was held in Belfast Castle on Thursday 13 November and Mr Gordon Topping, Chief Executive of the NEELB, was guest of honour.
Both teachers produced online courses which gave pupils opportunities to learn independently, at their own pace and in an environment of their own choosing. We are very proud of our two teachers who both achieved top grades in the programme.
